Agilent Technologies in Oxfordshire manufacture a wide range of analytical instrumentation, and have ordered two electrically heated, batch ovens to burn off a starch base, from glass fibre insulated wire between temperatures of 200 to 400 degrees. The ovens have a programmable temperature controller and a graphic temperature recorder, wired to 8 off wander thermocouples which will be attached to the work pieces to monitor their temperature throughout the heating cycle. The oven employs a proven airflow, to ensure an even temperature distribution through out the temperature range.
